Changing the collation of your database

Depending on the software your website uses, it may be necessary to change the collation of your database. This article explains how to change the collation via phpMyAdmin.

1. Log into your server via phpMyAdmin.
2. Click the database name in the left pane.
3. Click Operations in the top menu.
4. Choose your desired collation from the dropdown menu.
5. Click the Go button to save.
