Overview
This article explains how to connect your own Stripe account for payments and your own Shippo account for shipping to a Remixer store, so you can accept payments and ship products directly from your live Remixer site.
Prerequisites
A Remixer project, with access to the Open Integrations icon in the left sidebar of the Remixer dashboard.
A Stripe account, if you plan to accept payments.
A Shippo account, if you plan to ship physical products.
Connecting Stripe or Shippo requires your own provider account and your own API credentials. Remixer does not process payments or generate shipping labels on its own — connecting either service links your live Stripe or Shippo account to your Remixer store.
Connecting Stripe for payments
In Remixer, payments run through your own Stripe account. Remixer places buy buttons and checkout links on your site; you create products, set prices, and manage transactions and payouts directly in Stripe.
Connect your Stripe account
If you do not already have one, create a Stripe account and verify your email address.
In the Stripe dashboard, open API keys under Developers, and copy your publishable key and secret key.
In your Remixer dashboard, click the Open Integrations icon in the left sidebar.
Select Stripe and paste your API key.
Save the connection. Remixer stores the credential through the integration and in Cloud > Secrets, where it is encrypted.
Do not manually add a "Payment ID" in Stripe or in Remixer. Stripe generates payment-related identifiers automatically when you create a product, a price, or a payment link — there is no separate ID for you to enter.
Setting up a product and payment link in Stripe
In the Stripe dashboard, open Products (or Payment Links).
Create the product or service you want to sell.
Add a price for the product.
Create a payment link if you want a hosted checkout page that requires no code.
Copy the payment link or buy-button code Stripe generates.
In Remixer, ask the AI in chat to add a buy button or checkout link using the Stripe payment link you copied, or add the link to a button yourself in Editor mode. Remixer displays the button on your live site; Stripe handles the actual checkout, transaction, and payout.
What connecting Stripe enables
Checkout — buy buttons and checkout links on your Remixer site.
Transactions — Stripe processes charges and records every payment.
Payouts — Stripe deposits your funds on your payout schedule.
Account backend — manage products, refunds, disputes, and customer records from your Stripe dashboard.
Connecting Shippo for shipping
Shipping runs through your own Shippo account. Once connected, Shippo supplies real-time carrier rates, printable labels, and delivery tracking for orders placed through your Remixer store.
Connect your Shippo account
If you do not already have one, create a Shippo account.
In the Shippo dashboard, open Settings > API, and generate or copy your API token.
In your Remixer dashboard, click the Open Integrations icon in the left sidebar.
Select Shippo and paste your API token.
Save the connection. Remixer stores the credential through the integration and in Cloud → Secrets.

FAQs
Do I need my own Stripe and Shippo accounts to sell products on Remixer?
Yes. Remixer connects to the Stripe and Shippo accounts you provide; it does not include a built-in payment processor or shipping carrier account, so you supply your own API credentials for each.
Where does Remixer store my Stripe and Shippo credentials?
Remixer stores each credential through the Stripe or Shippo integration and in Cloud → Secrets, where it is encrypted and referenced by your app's runtime actions rather than exposed in the browser.
Do I need to create a Payment ID in Stripe or Remixer?
No. Stripe generates payment-related identifiers automatically when you create a product, a price, or a payment link. Manually adding a Payment ID is not part of the setup.
Can I manage payouts or shipments from Remixer?
No. Manage transactions and payouts in your Stripe dashboard, and manage shipments and tracking in your Shippo dashboard. Remixer displays the buy buttons and checkout links your Stripe setup generates.
