How to sign up for a domain registration account only

You can create a DreamHost account that is used only for domain registration, without any hosting plans or services attached.

This is helpful when you only need to purchase or transfer an existing domain registration to DreamHost and do not require any hosting plans or services.

How do I set up a new DreamHost account?

To set up a new DreamHost account:

1. Navigate to www.dreamhost.com/cart.
2. Enter your email address and create a password.
3. Click the Continue button when finished.
4. Search for a domain or enter one to transfer to DreamHost.
5. Proceed through the following steps to complete the setup of your domain registration only account.

When finished, your panel is set up, and you can manage the details for your domain registration.
