Overview
The panel lets you migrate all of your data from an existing Managed VPS to a new one by choosing to transfer your data when you delete the original server.
Prerequisites
The following instructions assume you've recently added a new Managed VPS plan to your account and wish to migrate your data over to it.
How do I migrate my data to a new Managed VPS?
- Navigate to the Servers & Usage page.
- To the right of the server you wish to delete, click the 'vertical 3-dots' button.
- Click the Delete button.
- Check the Transfer all data to another server checkbox.
- Select the server you want to migrate your data to from the Transfer to server dropdown. This ensures your data is copied to the new server where you'll continue to host your site.
- Click the Delete VPS button.
Your data will begin to migrate to the new Managed VPS. This could take some time, depending on how much data there is to transfer.
