Plan no longer available
This article refers to a Shared Unlimited hosting plan that is no longer available for purchase.
The steps below apply only to customers who have previously purchased this plan.
How to move to another hosting plan
The following sections explain how to move from a Shared Unlimited hosting plan to another plan.
Moving to a Web Hosting plan
To move:
- Navigate to the Manage Account page.
- To the right of your Shared Unlimited plan, click the Manage button.
- Scroll down to the Discover our new hosting plans section. You will see the three Web Hosting plans.
- Select a payment term.
- Under your chosen Web Hosting plan, click the Select Plan button.
- Review your new plan details and click Submit Order to complete the purchase.
Upgrading to VPS hosting
See the Adding a VPS article for instructions on adding a plan.
- When purchasing, you have the opportunity to move ALL of your users and domains to the new VPS. You can also choose not to move any data.
- If you would like to only pay for a VPS and remove Shared Hosting, check the radio button to move all users and domains during this process.
After all of your sites have been moved to your new VPS and they are resolving correctly, you must then manually delete your Shared Hosting plan.
Upgrading to a Dedicated Server
See the Add a Dedicated server article for instructions on adding a new Dedicated Server hosting plan. When creating a Dedicated Server, you can choose to move all of your Shared users to the new machine.
Upgrading to DreamPress
If you already have a WordPress site on Shared Hosting, you can upgrade it to DreamPress.
You can also add a new domain to DreamPress.
