Changing your Webmail Layout

Overview

DreamHost's Webmail interface offers two themes: DreamHost Elastic (the default) and DreamHost Larry. You can switch between them, and — with Larry — choose an additional Widescreen, Desktop, or Link layout, from Webmail's Settings. This article shows you how to enable and change your webmail layout using the DreamHost Larry theme.

How do I change the layout?

To make any of the following changes, log in to Webmail at webmail.dreamhost.com, enter your usernames and password, and then click Login.

How do I switch to the DreamHost Larry theme?

1. In the left pane, click Settings.
2. Choose Preferences.
3. Choose User Interface in the left navigation bar.
4. Under Interface skin, select DreamHost Larry and click the Save button to save your changes.

How do I make additional layout changes?

There are some additional layout options you can select when using Larry, which are covered in the following steps.

1. Click the Settings gear icon in the upper right of the main Webmail page.
2. Choose Preferences.
3. In the Settings menu, navigate to the Mailbox View section. Under Main Options, you can select the Widescreen, Desktop, or Link layouts.
4. Click the DreamHost logo in the top left corner to return to the main Webmail page and view the new layout.

How do I change the skin back to the default?

1. Click the Settings gear icon in the upper right of the main Webmail page.
2. Choose Preferences.
3. Choose User Interface in the left navigation bar.
4. Under Interface skin, select DreamHost Elastic and click the Save button to save your changes.
