This article explains the features available on DreamHost's new Web Hosting plans.
Background
The three 'Web Hosting' plans described below are 'Shared' hosting plans. This means they are configured on 'Shared' web servers like the older Shared Starter and Shared Unlimited hosting plans.
Web Hosting plans
The following plans are available at DreamHost.

Email hosting
Please note that email is offered for free for the first 3 months on all new Web Hosting plans. After this time period, a new Paid Email plan is automatically added to your account to continue email service.
How to add a Web Hosting plan
You can use either of the following options to add a Web Hosting plan.
Option 1 — Adding a Web Hosting plan when signing up
A Web Hosting plan can be purchased when originally signing up for a new DreamHost account.
Visit the Web Hosting hosting page. Under your preferred plan, click the Sign Up Now button and follow the prompts to sign up for a new DreamHost account. Once complete, you'll have access to your DreamHost panel.
Option 2 — Adding a Web Hosting plan in the panel
To add a Web Hosting plan:
- Log in to your panel.
- In the left menu under the Add Product section, select the Hosting tab.
- Select Web Hosting from the list.
- Select the billing term to host the plan. (Monthly, Annual, or 3 Years)
- Select a plan tier, then click the Add to Cart button.
- Review your cart details, then click the Submit Order button.
