Overview
DreamHost's Web Hosting plans are shared hosting plans that provide website hosting, storage, subdomains, email, and MySQL databases across three tiers: Launch, Growth, and Scale.
Background
The three 'Web Hosting' plans described below are 'Shared' hosting plans. This means they are configured on 'Shared' web servers like the older Shared Starter and Shared Unlimited hosting plans.

Email hosting
Please note that email is offered for free for the first 3 months on all new Web Hosting plans. After this time period, a new Paid Email plan is automatically added to your account to continue email service.
What happens if I go over the storage limit?
Your site remains online if your storage usage goes over your plan's limit. However, new uploads, one-click installs, and other site functionality that writes to disk will fail until your usage is brought back under the limit. DreamHost also emails you to let you know it is time to free up space.
Each Web Hosting plan includes a set amount of storage: 25GB on the Launch plan, 50GB on the Growth plan, and 100GB on the Scale plan. To bring your usage back under the limit, you can:
Delete or move files you no longer need. See the Disk usage and Inode usage best practices articles.
Upgrade to a Web Hosting plan with more storage.
If no action is taken, your server usage stays restricted until it is brought back under your plan's limit.
How do I add a Web Hosting plan?
You can use either of the following options to add a Web Hosting plan.
Option 1 — Adding a Web Hosting plan when signing up
A Web Hosting plan can be purchased when originally signing up for a new DreamHost account.
Visit the Web Hosting hosting page. Under your preferred plan, click the Sign Up Now button and follow the prompts to sign up for a new DreamHost account. Once complete, you'll have access to your DreamHost panel.
Option 2 — Adding a Web Hosting plan in the panel
To add a Web Hosting plan:
Log in to your panel.
In the left menu under the Add Product section, select the Hosting tab.
Select Web Hosting from the list.
Select the billing term to host the plan. (Monthly, Annual, or 3 Years)
Select a plan tier, then click the Add to Cart button.
Review your cart details, then click the Submit Order button.
