Change password (Panel users)

Overview

Each DreamHost account has a primary email address assigned to it. This email gives you access to the DreamHost panel which you can access at panel.dreamhost.com.

Checking if your password has been compromised

When setting or changing your password, DreamHost checks it against haveibeenpwned's API.

If your password has been found in the API or if it has been found to be a weak password, the panel will then advise you (but not force you) to update it in an effort to make it more secure.
